Children Underground (2001)

Standard

This documentary isn’t new but it has been a favourite of mine since I first watched it about a year ago. I wanted to share it because I find it takes a different approach to child homelessness, poverty, and the government’s role in all of it by not having an ‘interviewer’ or ‘reporter’ to get information out of the subjects. This creates a more raw and natural truth to be revealed without shifting focus. With absolutely no intervention throughout the documentary by the crew, viewers get a non-censored experience of these children’s reality.
